Complex mechanical and building-services systems
International multidisciplinary coordination
Sustainability-related project requirements
Theatres and exhibition facilities
Large-scale public and event-space infrastructure
Experience gained on a landmark convention and exhibition development with complex and special MEP systems, extensive multidisciplinary interfaces, and stringent sustainability objectives.
Responsibilities included mechanical engineering coordination, technical review, and collaboration with international consultants and project teams throughout design and construction.
Contributed to the delivery of this US$1.2 billion project, built in accordance with LEED Gold sustainability standards, supporting theatres, exhibition spaces, and large-scale public infrastructure within a highly demanding project environment.
Underground stations and tunnel infrastructure
MEP and life-safety coordination
Complex systems interfaces
BIM-based multidisciplinary delivery
Sustainability and operational requirements
Professional experience gained in the delivery of underground stations, tunnels, and associated transportation infrastructure, requiring extensive MEP coordination, life-safety integration, and systems-interface management.
The work involved technical coordination across complex underground environments, where spatial constraints, programme pressures, and multidisciplinary interfaces were critical to successful delivery.
This US$237 million project (MEP value) covered the design and construction of five underground stations and 13.5 km of twin-bored tunnels. Each station achieved a four-star GSAS sustainability rating, while meeting stringent System Assurance requirements, including RAM, SIL, and EMC.
Specialist aviation infrastructure
Operationally critical building systems
Complex geometry and spatial coordination
Multidisciplinary systems integration
High reliability and safety requirements
Within this massive US$15 billion aviation hub, MEP engineering activities were led for critical facilities, including the iconic crescent-shaped Air Traffic Control Tower. The full engineering lifecycle was managed, from technical calculations and material submittals to the procurement of specialized MEP equipment.
Multiple facilities within Hamad International Airport required coordinated MEP solutions to support passenger operations, administrative functions, healthcare services, and aircraft maintenance activities.
The assignment involved MEP design coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration across terminal buildings, administration facilities, medical centres, and specialised maintenance hangars.
Work was delivered within a highly regulated aviation environment where reliability, safety, maintainability, and systems integration were key project drivers.
Multiple high-rise towers and podium structures
BIM-led MEP coordination
Complex vertical and horizontal interfaces
Lean construction and delivery planning
Programme-driven multidisciplinary coordination
This landmark development comprises four super-tall skyscrapers and integrated podium buildings, delivered within a demanding programme and a complex multidisciplinary environment.
The role involved end-to-end delivery of specialised MEP systems, with BIM utilised throughout for coordination and lean construction strategies adopted to meet the accelerated timeline required for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Technical interface management and lean delivery principles supported the integration of building services across vertically and horizontally connected project areas, within a fast-track, high-profile development.
